Toots is another December foster from the Stafford Animal Shelter. She had been at the shelter for a whole year, which totally blows my mind, because she could not be a more perfect cat.
She is so sweet and loving, and is famous for giving hugs!

Before we knew it, it was December again, and a new group of foster kitties were coming in to the gallery. We realized Toots had found her home, and now I don't know what we would do without her. She is my heart!

Toots passed away on March 30, 2009, with a little help from her friend Dr. Colmey.
Many of you will remember Toots, who galloped to the door to greet every visitor,
who enthusiastically assisted all shoppers, and gave hugs to those who would allow it.
The gallery will never be the same without her.
We adopted Toots six years ago from the Stafford Animal Shelter. At the time, her estimated age was 16.
How can time go by so fast?
Don't worry, you will still be adored by a kitty when you visit our studio - Sly and Poppy are sure to say "Hello"
and if you are real lucky, Elvie might even acknowledge your presence.
But no one's ever gonna hug you like Toots did.
Some things to remember about Toots:
While hugging people, when she was most happy she would drool.
She was a talker. She talked like a Siamese.
She was one of those cats who looked into your soul with the love look in her eyes.
She had absolutely perfect litterbox manners.
She "helped" every time I worked on the computer.
Water in my tea cup was WAY better than water in her dish.
