Sly Bear Goodman - Foster Cat turned Permanent Shop Cat

Introducing Sly Bear!
Sly is an older, declawed "Squishy Face".
He was quite grouchy when he arrived at our gallery on December 5th, 2008.
He was brought in to the Stafford Animal Shelter badly bitten by an animal.
Despite the valiant efforts of the wonderful staff there, the infection was too bad, and Sly ended up losing his back leg.

When he first got here, he did not like other cats or dogs, at all!
He just wanted to sleep in his litter box.

But that changed.

Not only does Sly like dogs and other cats, he is also GREAT with humans!

Charlie taught Sly about snuggling.

So Sly took over Yamni's bed. He snores so loud you wouldn't believe it.

In February of 2009, we adopted Sly so he could live in our gallery forever.
He has lots of friends who love to visit him.

Sly loves playing with toys, loves tummy rubs, and loves snackies.
The only thing he doesn't love, is getting his eyes cleaned every day.
(It's a Squishy-Face cat thing - serious eye buggers.)
Sly smiles now.
He owes his life to the wonderful folks at the Stafford Animal Shelter.

INSTEAD of supporting a breeder are the most important things you can do to help ALL cats and dogs.
